Of all the events Christmas in the park is my favorite. It is a Christmas wonderland. The opening of Christmas in the park start the holiday season off with so much Christmas cheer. Christmas in the park features over 5 million twinkling lights and 425 displays covering over 100 acres. You can drive or walk the park. You can ride Santa’s express train through this illuminated winter wonder land. After the train ride stop for some hot chocolate and snacks. My family goes many times though out the holiday season. The magic of Christmas comes alive as you walk through the park and see the true meaning of Christmas. You can take pictures with Rudolph and Frosty. Over 70,000 people attend each year. If you are on the adventurous side you can take an helicopter from Oklahoma City and fly over the park and view this spectacular view of the 5 millions lights.
It is also close to shopping and many restaurants. It is close to the interstate and the turnpike. Shedeck Elementary is with-in walking distance.
Shedeck Woodland is another great area to live in Yukon!
