I had many friends and clients ask me how bad is the market?  Our market is great!  If you are thinking about making a move, it is still a great time to be buying and selling Real Estate in Oklahoma. Oklahoma housing market is not only affordable, it is also stable and a secure long-term investment. Here are a few facts about our market:

1. Home values in Oklahoma increased by 4.2 percent in 2007. (OAR)

2. It was our seventh consecutive year that the average sale price of an existing home in Oklahoma has increased on a year-to year basis. (OAR)

3. Nationally, NAR reported a decline of 1.4 percent in the national home value at the end of 2007. (OAR)

4. Since 2000, home values in Oklahoma have increased an average of 4.88 percent per year, which has resulted in growth of almost 40 percent in home values over the past seven years. (OAR)
